On the Windows desktop, Nimbus Capture provides a compact user interface, with clear and easy to spot controls. The application places several capturing methods at your disposal. Besides the fact that you can take screenshots or record videos, you can also choose to capture or record the entire screen or a specific region. Additionally, the application allows you to set up a delay, if you need to make a few preparations before it starts to record.

Nimbus Capture gives you several output choices as well. Once you take a screenshot, the image will appear in the application's built-in editor, where you can make a few annotations if you need to. Furthermore, the picture can be saved in various formats or uploaded to a Nimbus online account, from where you can share the picture on various social networks or send it via direct link.

Video recordings are saved on the hard drive automatically. When you finish a recording, you can preview the video and upload it to YouTube with a single click. What's more, the application can upload your files to a FTP server as well, which can be configured in the general settings menu.
